Converting from ISTAR original data

For testing purposes you may be able to get demo data from ISTAR for import. Ask for CDs with map data from Monaco and/or Rio de Janeiro. (It is likely that you'll have to sign a contract with ISTAR in order to obtain the demo data). The Terraformer software is fully capable of importing this data, but the orthophoto data must be completed by adding index files for the images. These index files specify the name, resolution and dimensions of the supplied TIF files.

In order to successfully convert the orthophoto data you need the following index files. All files should be named index or index.txt and reside in the same directory as the TIF file. Each file should contain only one line of text as stated below:
